Mystics 12 Wins the Bama Best Shootout
The Mystics 12U capped off their most successful weekend to date by winning the Bama's Best Shootout in Arab, AL. They won four games over the two day tournament. They beat the Bama's Best 12U, Tuff Stuff, the Rim Rockers and Bama's Best 11U. The Mystics played hard in all four games to win the Shootout. Congratulations Mystics.
Mystics 12 Finishes 2nd at North AL Classic
The Mystics 12U team finished off another successful weekend by finishing in second place at the North Alabama Classic held in Monrovia on April 4-6. They defeated the Starz 12U - Seldon, the Swoosh 13U and the Etowah Extreme on their way to the finals. In the finals they met HoopSouth and played hard but came away on the losing end.
Mystics 12 Finishes 2nd at East Lawrence Spring Tip-Off
The Mystics 12U travelled to Caddo, AL to play in the Spring Tip-Off Tourney hosted by the East Lawrence Football Bosster Club. They finished a successful weekend in second place. On their way to the finals they defeated the TN Lady Hoops and the Starz 12U - Seldon. They lost to the Northwest Alabama Shooters in pool play and then in the finals.
Successful 7th Grade Team
Congratulations to team members Alice Anne Glasgow, Kayla Norwood, Bailey Bennich and Hannah Echols on their successful 2007-08 Junior High season at Hartselle Junior High. They each played valuable roles on the Lady Tigers 7th grade team that went 13-2.
Free Throw Shooting Champ
Congratulations to team member Meagan Hamilton as she won the Elks Lodge Free Throw Shooting Contest Southest Regional. She had to win in overtime as she beat two others in a 5 shot shoot off. She will now will advance to the National Competition in Massachusetts on April 25 & 26. Good Luck Meagan!
